After this little escapade, I have a small nagging doubt at the back of my mind that they might not actually be as in touch with "the people" as they claim.

I honestly could not believe what I was reading. The way he spat out at Cheryl Crow! I bet he went home that night confident of a job well done. He must have gone to bed a satisfied man, knowing that he'd done his best to represent the American Government.

What a way to behave in such a public forum, with such popular interest! When will these people understand that they can no longer dismiss their responsibility to take action? FAST! Even if they don't believe in it themselves, they need to start to understand that their opinions might actually not be robust enough to form policy from.

It drives me mental to know that he probably went home that night thinking "There, that showed 'em".

Behaviour like that means that Americans will continue to be seen as the world's villains, when in actual fact, the people want so much more from their government than they get.

A big Thumbs up to Chery Crow who was pretty much acting as an Unpluggit spokeswoman. I saw a clip of her on TV yesterday making a VERY clear message about mobile phone chargers. Good Girl. Maybe she did get my letter after all...
